Posting: "Missing in Action"27th Jan 2009
After a year-long sabbatical from these pages, I have returned! Thank you for all of the messages I have received over the past 12 months asking: "Where are you?" and encouraging me to re-visit and update the site.
I have added a new entry to 'Tekh's Journal': an essay entitled ‘T.C. Lethbridge and the ‘sensitive’ Elizabeth Gimson’. It details events on a cruise around the Western Isles in the summer of 1934.
In the most recent edition of The Antiquaries Journal', 88, 2008, pp. 376-420, Richard Hobbs, FSA -Department of Prehistory and Europe, British Museum - has written a fascinating article entitled 'The Secret History of the Mildenhall Treasure'. T.C. Lethbridge was fascinated by events surrounding the discovery of the haul in 1946 and acted as an 'Expert Witness' on behalf of The British Museum at the inquest.
